Wash your hands for Naïf and UNICEF
Naïf, Dutch producer of a natural skincare range for babies and children, has introduced Naïf Helping Hand Wash. This natural hand soap cleans hands properly and gently, and is really kind on the skin. Helping Hand Wash has been tested dermatologically. So this natural hand wash is fine for very dry skin or even skin with eczema. Its glycerine ingredient hydrates the skin, preventing it from drying out. To emphasise the importance of good hygiene for children worldwide, Naïf will make a donation to UNICEF for every hand wash sold. Millions of children under five die every year through poor hygiene. UNICEF promotes the rights and wellbeing of every child.
‘Hygiene must be fun for children’
No chemicals, no nonsense
By introducing Helping Hand Wash, Naïf wants to protect babies and children worldwide against chemicals in skincare products. Naïf is very proud of its cooperation with UNICEF and is pleased to be allowed to use its mascot Oenny on Naïf products. Jochem Hes, one of the two founders fathers of Naïf, explains: “It’s important to wash your hands for at least 20 seconds if you don’t want to give diseases a chance. That’s long enough to sing a nice children’s song. Hygiene must be fun for children. Washing hands with Oenny is fun and it’s even more fun if you help other children.”
Washing hands is easy
The new soap comes in a handy pump bottle, making it easy for even the younger ones to use. Like all Naïf care products, Helping Hand Wash is free of chemicals or skin-irritating ingredients. So there’s no PEG, SLS/SLES, phenoxyethanol, parabens or mineral oils in it. This sounds tough, but washing your hands properly is simple: apply a small quantity on the palm of your hand, gently rub the hands together and then wash off with water. It’s so easy to help other children.
